Hide image background

Hide Background uses an intelligent, AI-powered algorithm to detect a subject in an image and the background using a mask, keeping all fine details like hair or fur intact.

1. Do any of the following:
   • Click the Mask menu at the top of the layers sidebar and choose Hide Background.
   • Choose Format > Mask > Hide Background to open the menu.
   • Press and hold the Option ⌥ key when clicking the Remove Background button in the toolbar menu.
2. (Optional) If there are any additional areas you want to hide or remove, you can edit the mask manually.
